hi everyone. I'm an MBA student at UC Irvine working on an exciting project with Amazon. We created a cooking web store where all proceeds benefit a charity of our choice - we chose to partner with WFP in the fight against hunger. We're blogging about cooking and some of our culinary adventures as part of the project to leverage social media tools and spread awareness on this important issue. BloggerAid...Changing the Face of Famine has added a fun new program to the roster. While we continue to work at creating awareness and funding for world famine, we also believe that networking and having fun with others who we'd like to know better is part of world brotherhood. What's new is called View and Review. For those who have interest in both cookbooks and trying new products, we've partnered with several publishers of distinction to have our members receive a book or product to review and blog about. It's a win/win. Publishers and manufacturers have an ongoing source of interested and available participants and when your turn comes up, you will receive either a book or a product to read, sample, donate to write about/taste/talk about while getting to know your online change community.
